Quality Policy of Validas
The vision of Validas is to ensure safety for life and limb in complex technical systems worldwide.
To realize this vision, we focus on the verifiable validation of tools, toolchains, basic software, and software libraries used in the development of safe systems, including in the automotive sector. This requires analyzing tools, toolchains, libraries, and basic software, qualifying or adapting them where necessary, and defining measures for their safe use ("Guidance to build safe systems"). The requirements for these activities are defined in safety standards such as ISO 26262 and IEC 61508.
Customer trust is a central aspect of our quality policy. We aim to guide our customers toward safe, standards-compliant products. Through open dialogue with our customers, we build trust on both a personal and professional level, and develop a shared understanding of project objectives. Based on this mutual understanding, we lead projects to successful completion, either independently or in close collaboration with the customer.
Our employees are the decisive factor in our success. Validas can only deliver these services thanks to the qualifications, continuous development, and motivation of our team. Consequently, employee satisfaction and professional growth are essential priorities.
We maintain a partnership-based relationship with our suppliers. Our business relationships are founded on mutual trust, which forms the basis for successful cooperation. We expect our suppliers to demonstrate reliability, transparent quality in their delivered services, and a fair, collaborative approach to working together.
Our Quality Management Officer ensures that all relevant processes are documented, maintained, and actively practiced. In addition, it is their responsibility to further promote quality awareness within Validas.
Validas is committed to upholding and continuously improving its processes in accordance with a process-oriented quality management system based on DIN EN ISO 9001:2015, as well as complying with all applicable legal requirements and customer specifications. The quality policy and quality management system are continuously assessed by management for their effectiveness and appropriateness. In doing so, Validas also considers the environmental and climate impact of its business activities and makes an appropriate contribution to addressing climate change.
Management requires all employees to regard the quality policy as the primary directive guiding their actions. The quality policy, quality objectives, continuous process improvement, and the achievement of customer satisfaction are to be implemented in day-to-day business in accordance with the quality management system.
The necessary measures and resources for implementing the quality policy are developed and provided by management.
